Community

Nothing can compare to the satisfaction we get from knowing that, in some small way, we have been instrumental in helping bring music into the lives of so many young people. Our close friendship with members of the teaching community goes back more than two decades. It is our very distinct privilege to have been invited to so many institutes and workshops over the years. Below you will find a listing of some of the programs and associations we have been honored to be involved with as part of our community outreach projects.

We sent the students in the summer program at the Washington Conservatory of Music some stringed instruments so they could try them out for free. They sent us this charming photo:

Where possible, we have provided links for you to become better informed about how institutes and workshops may benefit you. We have also provided several links to offer you glimpses into the life of the shop and the wonderful people who work for The Potter Violin Company.
