Community

Nothing can compare to the satisfaction we get from knowing that in some small way, we have been instrumental in helping bring music into the lives of so many young people. Our close friendship with members of the teaching community goes back more than two decades. It is our very distinct privilege to have been invited to so many institutes and workshops over the years. Below you will find a listing of some of the programs and associations we have been honored to be involved with as part of our community outreach projects. Where possible, we have provided links for you to become better informed about how they might benefit you. We have also provided several links to offer you glimpses into the life of the shop and the wonderful people who work for The Potter Violin Company.

I am so proud that string players from all over look upon me and my staff as trusted hands with their most prized possessions. I see this as a celebration of the unseen magic that occurs behind the doors here at Potter’s where time-worn experience combines with exacting craftsmanship to enable us to earn the confidence of string players from around the world. Those of you who know me personally know that all of our customers, from the most distinguished professionals, to those wearing the tiniest pigtails are like a second family to me. My staff and I will do our utmost to fulfill your expectations and those of your teacher and still give you the best deals available anywhere.
